CHARLOTTE, NC – Bryan Brown, franchise owner of five Meineke Car Care Centers located in Louisville, Kentucky, was honored September 15th by the International Franchise Association (IFA) as 2008 “Franchisee of the Year.” The award was presented at the IFA’s 9th Annual Franchise Appreciation Day held in Washington D.C. The award is bestowed upon franchise owners who have helped elevate their brand’s reputation and customer loyalty.

“Bryan Brown is an outstanding franchisee who has demonstrated true entrepreneurial spirit over his long relationship with Meineke,” said Meineke CEO and Chairman Ken Walker. “Our franchisees are very success-oriented people by nature. The incredible attitude and business savvy demonstrated by Bryan has helped him assemble a string of outstanding Meineke Centers, each staffed by an unstoppable team dedicated to growing both the Meineke brand and a loyal customer base.”

Brown previously worked for Meineke for two years as a field Operations Manager before beginning with two Meineke Centers in 1997. He has acquired additional franchises over the last decade, guiding each to sales success by consistently hitting Meineke performance markers in vehicles serviced, jobs- perticket, and customer retention. His service to the chain and fellow dealers is demonstrated by his active role and contributions to the Meineke Dealer Advertising Committee. “It is such an honor to be recognized for the hard work done by the teams at these five Meineke locations,” commented franchisee Brown. “Being selected by Meineke Corporate and then honored by the prestigious IFA is motivation to continue the successful efforts we’re doing in our Centers and in the communities we serve.”
